Welcome to the Logis de L'Arceau, our beautiful home, providing luxury B&B and gite accommodation, surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers in the Charente Maritime, near Cognac.

Originally owned by the Martell family providing food and work for the local Charentais as a charitable community farm, the former Logis and barns have been lovingly restored to create stylish accommodation within in a peaceful and tranquil location - a perfect place to stay.

In addition to the deluxe rooms and gites here at Logis de L'Arceau, we also offer a well-appointed two bedroom apartment in the picturesque village of Saint Martin, on the stunning Ile de Ré. Please contact us to book the apartment and for a special rate should you wish to stay at both of the above locations for your holiday.

We offer luxury accommodation in either our stylish bed & breakfast rooms or our two bed and one bed gites. All bedrooms have private shower rooms and WCs. Please contact us if you have any special requests.

Heated Swimming Pool: Take a dip in our 10 m x 5 m heated swimming pool, or relax on a lounger listening to the birds and soaking up the sun.

Games Room: Try your hand at table tennis, pool, table football, darts or family games.

Gym: Well-equipped with treadmill, multi-gym, exercise bikes and rowing machine. Freely available to all clients over 16.

Bikes: Available for hire to make the most of the extensive local cycle routes and beautiful scenery.

Come and enjoy Cognac with its interesting history, Cognac houses and a multitude of restaurants and shops. Medieval Pons is close by, with its UNESCO world heritage site, Hôpital des Pelerins and Donjon, on the route of St James of Compostela. Cycle through the vineyards, visit local towns and markets as well as the wonderful beaches on the Charente Maritime coast, such as Royan, St Palais-sur-Mer and Meschers. Enjoy a day out in the beautiful, vibrant cities of Bordeaux and La Rochelle or the stunning islands of Oléron and Ré.
