It offers the peace and quiet of rural France, yet is within easy access by car from the A10 motorway. If you are travelling from the UK we are under 4 and a half hours from the nearest cross Channel port at St Malo or a leisurely day's drive from Calais. We are well served by 3 airports all offering regular flights from the UK; Bordeaux and La Rochelle are both just over an hour away, while Limoges is approximately 2 hours.

Situated very close to the historic town of Cognac, with its many shops and restaurants, we are in a perfect location to visit its many Cognac houses, such as Hennessy, Martell, Rémi Martin and Courvoisier as well as the smaller artisan distilleries. Numerous places of interest, including stunning châteaux, Renaissance churches and Gallo Roman sites are all within easy reach, as are many local beautiful historic towns with their colourful markets. Cycle routes through the vineyards are on our doorstep and the wonderful beaches of the Charente Maritime are within an easy drive.
